As a Parts and Shipping Coordinator, you will play a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly — managing customer orders, coordinating with brokers and suppliers, and handling logistics from receipt to shipment. To thrive/succeed as the Parts/Shipping Coordinator, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience in warehousing, distribution, or logistics coordination.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems (preferably Plex); familiarity with order fulfillment processes.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment.
- Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a strong plus for supplier coordination.
- Must be able to manage international logistics and ensure compliance with Customs/import regulations.
Your responsibilities as the Parts/Shipping Coordinator will include:
- Manage ordering, shipping, receiving, and invoicing while communicating with suppliers, brokers, and internal teams.
- Maintain and update part, vendor, and customer data in the ERP system (Plex), including inventory, pricing, and costs.
- Schedule and track LTL, ground, air, direct, and emergency shipments; file claims as needed.
- Prepare quotes, monitor aging inventory, and lead documentation for outbound shipments and compliance.
- Verify invoice accuracy, maintain broker records, and escalate issues to management or international teams as necessary.
