Director, Human Resource Business Partner
Location: This position is open to multiple locations across Texas. (Houston, Austin, Dallas, or San Antonio areas)
We are currently seeking a Director, Human Resource Business Partner to join our team. This position is responsible for the strategic leadership of the Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) team to design and execute on talent strategies and project plans that achieve company-wide business goals. With a broad understanding of business imperatives and best practices for talent optimization, this role oversees the HR Business Partner strategy for assessing company and department priorities, articulating business objectives, and creating talent plans that directly tie HR strategies to business strategies and improve effectiveness of the organization. Assesses, scopes, collaborates, plans and implements programs that drive business transformation and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Brings a systematic approach to the design and execution of HRBP engagement strategies, planning and project management, including the process for assessing division priorities, conducting needs assessments, and developing talent plans that achieve business results.
- Partners with all Corporate HR teams and Centers of Excellence (COE)s to develop collaboration strategies, implementation and planning methodologies, and best practices for designing talent plans that align to organization priorities.
- Collaborates with senior business leaders and teams across the company to assess the organization effectiveness based on structure, roles, process and systems to engage employees. Partners to create talent initiatives that increase leader effectiveness, improved employee engagement, and drive expected business results.
- Leads and coordinates cross-functional advisory teams and networking/cohort groups, ensuring that all business leaders and teams are operating with similar organization goals, methodologies, and objectives that align to the talent development initiatives.
- Provides a consistent, exemplary internal experience across the organization with a results-driven approach and balanced emphasis on culture development, data driven decision making, critical thinking, and change management.
- Relies on industry standards, best practices, statistical analysis, and surveys to set high standards and continuously improve program results. Reports regularly on progress to senior leaders.
- Brings practical application of talent trends to the department to incorporate into current and future initiatives that support the growth of the business. Manages programs and project management activities, delivering on time, on budget, and with high quality standards.
- Maintains knowledge, subject matter expertise, and thought leader recognition in areas of organization effectiveness while maintaining an awareness and point of view on trends and best practices.
- Aspires to and practices the Corporate HR department mission to engage strategically with leaders and employees to serve the company culture, grow the business and make a difference in our communities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required. Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Ten or more years of Human Resource Business Partner, organization development or talent development is required.
- Five years of leadership experience in a dynamic, start-up environment, with experience scaling a business is required.
- Certification(s) in Group Facilitation, Organizational Diagnostics or Talent Development is preferred.
- Ability to lead cross-functional project teams in a collaborative and consensus-based environment.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business strategies into critical talent and workforce strategies/ initiatives.
- Ability to innovate and challenge current norms to drive change in the organization and work with people of varying backgrounds and organizational levels.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to changing structures and priorities.
- Demonstrated experience in program development/design that is customizable and scalable; able to effectively tailor and present initiatives to a diverse group of constituents.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to organize, analyze and summarize with superior writing and editing skills.
- Ability to interpret, analyze and apply company policies, objectives and procedures including developing, organizing, and implementing new policies and processes.
- Ability to independently plan, organize, schedule, coordinate and make decisions and judgment relating to assigned projects and other responsibilities and the ability to analyze, interpret, review, and edit information consistent with operational standards.
- Ability to utilize effective methods and techniques related to operations, project management, customer service and leadership requirements for group presentation and written and oral communication.
- Significant expertise in working with people at all levels of an organization; demonstrated ability to influence and support senior leadership.
- Commitment to diverse and inclusive engagement and an ability to connect with others and cultivate relationships based on mutual trust and respect, collegiality, and kindness.
- Ability to anticipate and avoid issues and to negotiate effectively.

Insperity provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of pay for this role is $117,200 - $131,600.
