We are looking for a highly skilled Controller to join our team and oversee the business's financial operations.

As the Controller, you will lead the financial management, reporting, and accounting functions. Reporting to the President and CFO, you will be crucial for ensuring financial integrity and managing the organization’s day-to-day finances.
To thrive, you should have:
- MBA in Accounting or CPA certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years in corporate and/or public accounting, including a demonstrated leadership role.
- Multi-unit experience and/or Franchise system experience a plus.
- Microsoft Great Plains GL system experience is a big plus. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are required.
- Extremely detail-oriented with a strong aptitude for accuracy and sharp analytical skills.

Your responsibilities as the [Job Title] will include:
- Provide leadership in establishing and managing the company’s financial activities, including its overall accounting practices and policies, internal controls, preparation of financial statements, variance analysis, cash management, and forecasting.
- Manage AR, AP, Payroll, and GL functions. Duties include performing account reconciliation and aging analysis, ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal policies and regulations, and implementing appropriate internal controls.
- Ensure records are maintained according to generally accepted auditing standards. Coordinate external and internal audit functions and tax filings.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process, research technical accounting issues, review changing procedures and accounting practices, and make recommendations to the CFO.
- Lead special projects, including the treasury system and electronic expense filing, to continually improve the accounting team's productivity.
