What you’ll do:
As the Industry Relations Coordinator, you will support the Organic Trade Association’s Industry Relations Department by enhancing outreach, strengthening industry relationships, and ensuring seamless engagement with members and stakeholders. You will work closely with the Director of Events and the Member Engagement Manager to execute key member engagement strategies, maintain accurate CRM data (Salesforce preferred), and facilitate effective communication. Your role will be cross-functional, assisting with data tracking and outreach efforts that advance OTA’s mission to serve and connect its diverse members from farm to marketplace.
To thrive, you should have:
- CRM experience required, Salesforce experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Your responsibilities as the Industry Relations Coordinator will include:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing industry events, managing registrations, speakers, logistics, and marketing materials.
- Support onboarding, renewals, and engagement programs, providing excellent customer service and facilitating sector council meetings.
- Help implement strategies to enhance member retention, track industry events, and contribute to OTA’s new member roadmap.
- Maintain accurate membership data in Salesforce, run reports, and track action items for engagement initiatives.
- Provide scheduling and note-taking assistance for meetings, ensuring timely follow-ups and organized communication.
