Program Manager – END
National Association for Latino Community Asset Builders (NALCAB) is a national membership organization representing 200+ nonprofits that serve diverse Latino communities in all 50 states, Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico. With offices in San Antonio, TX, and DC, we are a grant maker and US Treasury-certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). We support our members through training, funding, policy advocacy, and resources to amplify the impact of their programs and services. Working together, the NALCAB network can effect real change.
Our mission is to strengthen the economy by advancing economic mobility in Latino communities. NALCAB Network members invest in their communities by building affordable housing, addressing gentrification, supporting small business growth, and providing financial counseling on credit building and homeownership issues.
Your Role:
As the Program Manager of Equitable Neighborhood Development (END), you will manage programs that build assets in Latino communities nationwide. You will focus on enhancing local resources through initiatives supporting anti-displacement, community planning, and affordable housing.
To thrive, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree or five (5) years of related professional experience, preferably in affordable housing, community development, or nonprofit sectors.
- Familiarity with affordable housing strategies, community economic development, and experience in providing technical assistance and training to nonprofits.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; proficient in facilitating meetings and workshops in diverse cultural environments; bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data analysis, and database programs; ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel up to 20% for site visits, events, and stakeholder engagement.

Your key responsibilities as the Program Manager will include:
- Oversee Program Implementation and Grant Management: Plan and manage integrated programs, including grants, technical assistance, and training for nonprofits focused on equitable community development, affordable housing, and anti-displacement initiatives.
- Provide Member Support and Capacity Building: Support member organizations in expanding their impact, securing funding, building networks, and sharing best practices.
- Organize Events and Training: Facilitate events, webinars, and stakeholder meetings to promote knowledge sharing and community engagement.
- Budget and Project Management: Manage program budgets, develop scopes of work for consultants and subgrantees, and ensure compliance throughout the grant process.
- Conduct Research and Report Development: Analyze data to contribute to reports and grant applications and stay informed on relevant housing, economic, and asset-building trends.
