Assistant Vice President of Mortgage – Remote

As the Associate Vice President (AVP) of Mortgage, you will work with the Vice President and assist with the daily operation of the company’s mortgage loan department. You will monitor the prequalification and application pipelines to ensure timely decisions and compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. You will also assist with managing the lender’s profit margin to ensure profitability by overseeing the completion of mortgage transactions and subsequent sales and/or bookings.
To thrive, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or other relevant field from a four-year college or university.
- 7+ years of relevant mortgage and sales experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and working knowledge of Excel.
Your responsibilities as the Associate Vice President of Mortgage will include:
- Aggressively solicit and generate new commercial loan business while expanding customer relationships.
- Develop relationships with various community and professional organizations as a new commercial loan activity source.
- Manage a commercial lending portfolio with moderate oversight support from management.
