As the Distribution Sales Manager you will oversee the sales and distribution of maritime flooring through various channels, ensuring that goods reach wholesalers, retailers, and direct customers efficiently. You will manage independent Sales Agents, Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to optimize processes and support overall business objectives.
To thrive, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in Sales, Business Development, Sales Management, or Account Management.
- Intermediate knowledge of CRM systems and functional knowledge of SAGE 100 and Salesforce preferred.
- Understanding of global business practices, sales techniques, and market analysis to identify new business development opportunities.
- Solid data analysis skills to develop innovative solutions and drive the sales process from planning to closure.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage relationships with internal/external partners, and deliver executive-level presentations.
Your responsibilities as the Sales Manager will include:
- Promote and sell Lonseal products directly to customers, manage independent sales agents, identify new customers, deliver presentations, and address customer concerns to ensure satisfaction.
- Select, train, and manage independent Sales Agents, ensuring clear communication and optimal sales territory coverage.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop and implement effective marketing materials, public relations efforts, and maintain the company's branding.
- Provide insights to senior management on product development, market trends, and participate in long-term business planning.
- Ensure efficient sales processes, timely delivery of price quotes and samples, and manage costs while maintaining high service standards.
