To be successful, you should have:
- High School diploma or GED is required. Phone skills, including patients, understanding and compassion required.
- Must type at least 45 WPM and possess basic computer skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build professional relationships and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to interpret complex information, exercise sound judgment, and develop practical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office, billing and accounting systems, and the ability to quickly learn new software and technology platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and perform effectively in a dynamic environment with frequent interruptions and changing demands.

Your responsibilities as the Intake Coordinator will include:
- Manage the intake and referral process by reviewing incoming requests, verifying patient demographics, insurance eligibility, physician information, and service requirements to ensure timely and accurate onboarding.
- Coordinate with patients, caregivers, referral sources, physicians, and insurance providers to obtain required documentation, authorizations, and approvals necessary for service delivery and reimbursement.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for referral sources and patients, providing status updates, answering inquiries, resolving issues, and connecting individuals with alternative resources when services cannot be provided.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems, track referral progress, monitor outstanding requirements, and ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams, account managers, and leadership to support exceptional customer service, identify solutions to referral challenges, and promote a positive experience for patients, caregivers, and referral partners.
