To be successful, you should have:
- High school diploma or GED with two to three years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; professional certifications or licensure are not required but are viewed as an asset.
- Demonstrated capability with computers, industry-related software, and technical tools, along with the capacity to rapidly learn departmental programs, policies, procedures, and organizational Mission, Vision, and Goals.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and operate independently with limited supervision, applying reliable time-management practices to meet operational priorities.
Your responsibilities as the Operations Manager will include:
- Lead, train, and develop staff, including onboarding new hires, training on new procedures, conducting one-on-one meetings, annual performance reviews, and providing coaching through regular audits and feedback.
- Oversee daily operations and workflow, ensuring productivity goals are met, responding to day-to-day issues, arranging coverage for absences, and managing team schedules, time-off approvals, payroll sign-off, and overtime monitoring.
- Support service quality and issue resolution, handling escalated supervisor calls as needed, resolving staff concerns, and maintaining consistent departmental practices through timely communication and updates.
