Bank Branch Manager – Detroit
Salary $55,000 - $65,000 DOE
Are you a Teller Supervisor or Assistant Manager, ready to take the next step in your banking career? Liberty Bank and Trust is seeking motivated individuals in Detroit who aspire to become Bank Branch Managers.
About the Role:
As a Bank Branch Manager, you’ll elevate the client experience and lead a full-service branch office. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates who have successfully supervised teams as Personal Bankers and are eager to grow into management. You’ll oversee daily operations, mentor Universal Banker Associates, and represent Liberty Bank at local business and civic events.
Key Responsibilities for a Bank Branch Manager:
- Lead and supervise branch staff, setting goals, providing training, and supporting career development.
- Ensure branch profitability and operational efficiency.
- Address customer banking needs, including new and existing accounts.
- Promote and cross-sell bank products and services tailored to customer requirements.
- Accept loan and credit card applications, open new accounts, and ensure proper processing.
- Explain bank services (checking, savings, IRAs, CDs, etc.) and help customers choose the best options.
- Participate in recruiting and hiring for the branch.
- Represent Liberty Bank at community events and business meetings.

Qualifications for a Bank Branch Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience (preferably in a financial institution).
- 3–5 years of banking experience, including supervisory or team leadership responsibilities.
- Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems within bank policy and compliance guidelines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and banking software.
