Sales Engineer
As a Sales Engineer with B/T Western, you will support Account Managers by providing technical sales expertise across OEM accounts, collaborating with multiple customer departments, and influencing key decision-makers. You will develop deep knowledge of supplier products and capabilities, build strong supplier relationships, and clearly communicate technical solutions to customers and internal teams. Additionally, you will support product development by guiding suppliers through customer processes, anticipating challenges, and helping deliver optimal, market-ready solutions aligned with business objectives.

You Should Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline preferred; extensive automotive industry experience may substitute.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry, supporting technical sales, engineering, or product development activities.
- Proven technical aptitude with engineered automotive products and the ability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project; working knowledge of CAD software preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle and the ability to travel as required.
As The Sales Engineer, You Will Be Responsible For:
- Support Account Managers by presenting suppliers and products, contributing to strategic selling efforts, and helping achieve targeted sales goals.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key customer decision-makers and supplier contacts across assigned accounts.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of supplier products, production processes, customer programs, and competitive positioning.
- Support product development activities by coordinating supplier and customer communication, managing timelines, reviewing PPAP documentation, and assisting with product validation and launch.
- Manage required reporting, travel, audits, and administrative duties while meeting time and budget constraints.
