The Los Angeles Police Protective League (LAPPL) is dedicated to advocating for the rights, interests,

As the Administrative Assistant, you will provide support at the level of Administrative Assistant II,
performing intermediate-level clerical work. You will be responsible for tasks involving a technical-related
function, along with duties that support related class marketing efforts.
To be successful, you should have:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of related technical experience or equivalent combination of education and training.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Publisher/Photoshop, database management; able to type at least 50 WPM.
- Solid verbal and written communication; active listener; maintains confidentiality; collaborates well in team settings.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data; uses sound judgment in resolving issues and making decisions.
- Demonstrates accuracy, efficiency, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Design visual content, including presentations, flyers, and advertisements.
- Compile reports and enter data into computer systems.
- Monitor supplies and prepare replenishment requests as needed.
- Track and record expenditures accurately.
- Utilize relevant computer software and programs efficiently.
