Human Resources (HR) Generalist

In this role, you will support the full employee lifecycle while helping strengthen HR operations for a portfolio-driven real estate organization. You will work closely with leadership and employees to manage HR administration, payroll coordination, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance, ensuring our teams are supported and positioned for success.
We operate primarily in the multifamily real estate sector, leveraging decades of experience in real estate development, property renovation, and asset management. To succeed, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred, with 3+ years of HR experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, and payroll administration.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, payroll processing, and Microsoft Office tools, with working knowledge of employment law compliance and HR operations.
- HR certification, such as SHRM-CP or PHR, is a plus; bilingual Spanish is beneficial but not required.
Your responsibilities as an HR Generalist will include:
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment support, onboarding, orientation, and offboarding, while maintaining accurate HR documentation.
- Process and oversee bimonthly payroll for 200+ employees, ensuring accurate calculations, compliance, and coordination with payroll systems or PEO partners.
- Maintain employee records and HRIS systems to ensure compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a key contact for employee relations, addressing HR inquiries and supporting a positive workplace culture.
- Assist with benefits administration, HR reporting, policy implementation, and compliance initiatives across the organization.
