To succeed as the Accounting Supervisor, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with a strong foundation in financial reporting and compliance standards
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial management, or corporate finance roles, preferably within retail, distribution, or trading industries
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, payroll processing, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting
- Solid understanding of local financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements; ability to communicate effectively in English for business operations
Your responsibilities as the Financial Supervisor will include:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting accuracy
- Prepare and submit payroll processing and sales tax filings in compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements
- Oversee bookkeeping functions, including invoice processing, expense tracking, and financial data reconciliation
- Develop and maintain financial systems, internal controls, and accounting procedures to ensure compliance and scalability
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and audit preparation to support business strategy and operational efficiency
