As the COO, you will lead our client’s organization with a strong emphasis on debt resolution and debt collections. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing operations within the financial services sector, specifically focusing on debt management solutions. This role demands a tech-savvy strategic leader with a deep understanding of leveraging systems and data to enhance operational efficiency and drive organizational growth.
To succeed as the Chief Operating Officer, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent; Minimum of five years of experience in a senior operational role within the debt settlement, debt management, or debt collections industry, preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing debt resolution and/or collection strategies and improving operational performance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Proficiency in financial management software and operational systems; experience with technology tools relevant to debt management is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and influence teams.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. The ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Your responsibilities as the COO will include:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and client satisfaction in debt settlement.
- Oversee daily operations, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and integrate technology to optimize workflows and decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a high-performance accountability and continuous improvement culture.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant debt settlement laws and regulations while maintaining the company’s integrity and reputation.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to drive company-wide initiatives, improve customer experience, and support business growth.
