To succeed as the Sr. Director of HR, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
- Minimum 5-10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally overseeing multi-company operations.
- Solid knowledge of employment laws across multiple states, compliance, HR systems, talent management, and HR analytics.
- Proficiency with HRIS software required and digital collaboration tools.
- Experience working in a remote environment, exceptional communication and leading a remote workforce.
Your responsibilities as the Sr. Director of HR will include:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and training across multiple organizations.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and update HR policies accordingly.
- Lead and supervise HR and Talent teams, manage budgets and collaborate with other senior leadership.
- Oversee employee relations, engagement and retention strategies, performance management, and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Manage onboarding, benefits administration, and maintain accurate HR records.
- Utilize HR analytics to drive decision-making.
