As an Inside Sales Representative, you will execute sales and customer support functions with expertise, managing inbound and outbound communications, including cold calls, across multiple chat, email, and phone channels. You will support clients, capture data, and manage the sales cycle while consistently meeting set goals. You will demonstrate full proficiency in this role, leveraging your experience to handle complex tasks under general supervision. You will progressively gain independence as you develop expertise and refine your skills. Your ability to adapt, communicate effectively, and drive results will be key to your success.
To succeed as the Inside Sales Representative, you should have:
- A high school diploma is required; an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, a technical field, or Business is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- 3+ years in a B2B or B2C environment, with experience in the building products industry (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) is preferred.
- Skilled in CRM platforms such as Aircall, HubSpot, and Salesforce, as well as Microsoft Office Suite and web navigation.
- Solid communication skills, including explaining policies, managing complaints, upselling, and adhering to professional etiquette.
- Fluency in English is required; bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English is a plus.
- Remote role with a flexible work schedule to meet client needs; occasional travel, including overnight trips, may be required.
Your responsibilities as the Inside Sales Representative will include:
- Execute Targeted Sales Campaigns – Strategically conduct outbound calls to existing, prospective, and past customers to achieve call objectives, sales targets, and customer engagement goals.
- Manage Multi-Channel Communications – Use smartphone, chat, email, text messaging, and other tools to respond effectively to customer inquiries in a high-production sales environment.
- Drive Sales and Customer Solutions – Identify customer pain points, tailor solutions to their needs, and consistently meet sales quotas through lead qualification, objection handling, and closing sales.
- Maintain Accurate Records – Utilize ERP systems to manage customer interactions, ensuring data integrity by accurately capturing and updating customer profiles and transaction details.
- Collaborate and Develop Professionally – Participate in team meetings, coaching sessions, training, and industry development opportunities to enhance skills and contribute to team success.
