To thrive as our Senior Consultant, you should have:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience;7+ years supporting IBM i environments and ERP applications, preferably Infor XA.
Demonstrated expertise in IBM i system administration, including command-line operations, ACS, IBM Navigator, system configuration, security concepts, and vendor application installations.
Advanced development skills in CLP, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, with solid command of SQL tools (DFU, DBU, STRSQL, SQL Scripts) and data integration formats such as XML and JSON.
Experience with modern technologies such as Java, Python, and web-based integrations; familiarity with WebSphere and Microsoft Office tools.
Proven customer-facing consulting abilities, including clear written and verbal communication, and the capability to present and train small to mid-sized user groups.
Willingness to travel occasionally and accommodate flexible schedules, including evening or weekend work for go-live events, upgrades, PTFs, and deployments.

Your responsibilities as the Senior Consultant will include:

Own IBM i and Infor XA system administration, including OS patching, PCM and XA upgrades across multiple environments, security management, backups, and environment configuration.
Lead customer upgrade initiatives from planning through execution, serving as the PUI subject-matter expert, managing XA version transitions, AWS Corretto upgrades, and maintaining clear customer documentation.
Design and implement automation solutions to modernize and replace manual processes, particularly within cloud and upgrade workflows.
Monitor service contract activity, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver regular status updates and recommendations to internal teams and customers.
Serve as a technical and application consultant, partnering directly with customers to support implementations, upgrades, and ongoing system optimization.
