We are seeking a Workforce Development Manager to play a vital role in advancing the facility management industry by leading initiatives that attract new talent, strengthen career pathways, and deepen employer engagement with IFMA and the IFMA Foundation. You will develop innovative workforce solutions, integrate technology, and build strategic partnerships to expand opportunities globally. You will promote facility management as a career of choice and help shape the industry's future by supporting individuals in creating successful, rewarding careers.

To be successful as a Workforce Development Manager, you should have:
- 5+ years of experience in workforce development, outreach, partnership development, or industry promotion, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred in public policy, marketing, business administration, human resources, or related fields.
- Solid project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Solid written, verbal, and presentation skills in English, with the ability to interpret technical, financial, and legal documents; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Solid technical expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, Canva, and Adobe software.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 10% and adapt to diverse work environments while maintaining high-quality performance.
Your responsibilities as the Workforce Development Manager will include:
- Develop and implement strategic outreach initiatives to engage employers, job seekers, educators, and community organizations, promoting facility management as a career of choice.
- Design and manage targeted career and training programs for high-priority populations, creating resources and partnerships to guide individuals into facility management roles.
- Foster employer and community engagement by building collaborations with industry, educational institutions, workforce boards, and nonprofits to strengthen the talent pipeline.
- Drive revenue and funding opportunities through sponsorships, grant applications, and initiatives that expand participation in IFMA professional development and membership programs.
- Leverage data and evaluation tools to measure program impact, refine workforce strategies, and inform the development of scalable, globally replicable initiatives.
