National Safety Director – Remote

They are seeking a highly motivated National Safety Director to oversee and advance their Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) strategy across nationwide operations. In this role, you will develop and implement safety programs that protect personnel working on residential, commercial, and new home solar and storage projects. You will ensure that every job site meets the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

To succeed as the National Safety Director, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of safety leadership in construction, solar, or industrial settings; 5+ years in renewables preferred.
- CSP, CHST, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
- Expert knowledge of OSHA 1926/1910, NFPA, ANSI, and EPA regulations.
- Willing to travel up to 50% nationwide to support multi-site safety operations.
Your responsibilities as the National Safety Director will include:
- Lead national HSE strategy aligned with corporate goals and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee safety programs and training across all solar and storage project sites.
- Ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, NFPA 70E) through audits and inspections.
- Manage and mentor the national safety team, fostering a proactive safety culture.
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, incident investigations, and stakeholder collaboration.
