What You’ll Do As The Sales Engineer:
You will provide technical sales support to Account Managers, helping drive sales of OEM accessories by collaborating with key decision-makers across customer departments. You will develop a deep understanding of supplier products and capabilities, building strong relationships to ensure seamless communication and strategic alignment. You will assist in product development by offering technical guidance and solutions that fit customer needs and supplier goals. Proactively identifying challenges, you will work with suppliers to develop effective solutions. Your success will rely on strong communication, attention to detail, and adapting to diverse audiences.
You Should Have:
• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, or a related technical field is preferred; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• 3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a background in technical sales, engineering, or product development.
• Proficiency in software tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and preferably CAD software.
• Strong technical communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for travel as needed.
As The Sales Engineer, You Will Be Responsible For:
• Support sales by presenting suppliers and products to assigned customers and assisting Account Managers in achieving sales targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at assigned accounts and supplier contacts to foster long-term partnerships.
• Develop technical expertise on supplier products, production processes, and competitive advantages to communicate customer value effectively.
• Facilitate product development by coordinating communication between suppliers and customers, managing timelines, reviewing engineering documents, and conducting fit checks.
• Handle administrative responsibilities, including reporting on sales activities, submitting expense reports, and assisting with supplier onboarding and audits.
