Director of Engineering – Hotel Maintenance Operations

To succeed as the Director of Engineering, you should have:
- 4+ years of hotel or commercial maintenance experience
- 2+ years of experience as a Chief Engineer or comparable leadership role
- 4+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, preventative maintenance, and facility operations
Your responsibilities as the Director of Engineering will include:
- Oversee daily hotel maintenance operations to support guest satisfaction and brand standards
- Lead, schedule, and develop the engineering and maintenance team
- Manage preventative maintenance programs for guest rooms, public spaces, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and kitchen equipment
- Respond to maintenance emergencies and facility issues with urgency and professionalism
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and inspectors for repairs, renovations, and capital improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety regulations, and hospitality property standards
- Monitor maintenance budgets, project quotes, and facility upgrades
