Administrative Receptionist – Healthcare - AKDHC Administration
Arizona Kidney Disease & Hypertension Centers (AKDHC), a leading physician-owned healthcare organization specializing in kidney care across Arizona, is seeking a polished, customer-focused Administrative Receptionist to join our administrative team. In this role, you will serve as the front-desk point of contact, delivering exceptional customer service while supporting daily office operations, managing communications, and maintaining a professional, efficient healthcare office environment.
AKDHC is one of the nation’s largest physician-owned nephrology practices, serving patients with Chronic Kidney Disease throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan area since 1976. Our ASC specializes in interventional and surgical procedures supporting dialysis access and kidney care.

Required Qualifications/Skills for an Administrative Receptionist
- High school diploma required; associate degree in business administration or healthcare administration preferred
- 2–3 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role in a healthcare or office setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and general office systems with accurate data entry skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; no travel required
- Administrative Receptionist Responsibilities
- Serve as the front desk receptionist, greeting visitors, physicians, and staff while providing exceptional customer service
- Answer, screen, and route high-volume phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage messages efficiently
- Perform administrative support tasks including data entry, filing, scanning, and document preparation
- Manage office operations such as mail distribution, supply inventory, and conference room scheduling
- Maintain organized records, communication lists, and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
