Executive Assistant – Healthcare Administration – AKDHC Administration
Arizona Kidney Disease & Hypertension Centers (AKDHC), a leading physician-owned healthcare organization specializing in comprehensive kidney care, is seeking a highly skilled Executive Assistant to support senior leadership. In this role, you will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Chief Executive Officer and Vice President of Clinical Operations, managing executive scheduling, coordinating board and leadership activities, and driving communication, organization, and follow-through across key healthcare initiatives.
AKDHC is one of the nation’s largest physician-owned nephrology practices, serving patients with Chronic Kidney Disease throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan area since 1976. Our ASC specializes in interventional and surgical procedures supporting dialysis access and kidney care.

Required Qualifications/Skills for an Executive Assistant
- Bachelor’s degree required for this role
- 5+ years of experience supporting C-suite executives in a healthcare, corporate, or medical group environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and executive support tools
- Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage confidential information; minimal local travel or schedule flexibility as needed
- Executive Assistant Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level administrative support, including calendar management, scheduling, and meeting coordination for C-suite leadership
- Coordinate board meetings, committees, and leadership sessions, including agendas, materials, and detailed meeting minutes
- Draft, edit, and manage executive communications, reports, and presentations with a high level of accuracy
- Track priorities, deadlines, and follow-ups to ensure timely execution of strategic and operational initiatives
- Serve as a liaison between executives, physicians, and internal/external stakeholders while maintaining confidential records and communications
