As the Medical Staff Coordinator, you will play a key role in keeping our healthcare team running smoothly by providing exceptional support to physicians, physician offices, administrative staff and outside entities like hospitals and dialysis units.

To be successful as a Medical Staff Coordinator, you should have:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED, with 1–3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, email, and internet software; able to analyze, interpret, and communicate technical and business information effectively in writing and orally.
- Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems, manage multiple tasks, and apply sound judgment, with occasional travel or lifting to 50 pounds as needed.
Your responsibilities as the Medical Staff Coordinator will include:
- Create physician and supporting staff schedules.
- Create and manage office templates in Athena for physician schedules.
- Verify schedule accuracy and communicate with physicians on what their hospital needs are for the day, including communicating through Tiger Text.
- Support department operations by learning all aspects of physician scheduling and covering during staff absences.
- Training of QGenda for the physicians, nurse practitioners and new employees
