Inventory Clerk

Our client is seeking an Inventory Clerk who will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by managing shipping and receiving, overseeing inventory, staging materials for field jobs, and maintaining equipment and assets. In this role, you will ensure the warehouse and shop remain organized and efficient while collaborating daily with vendors and field service teams. In this role, you will rely on your strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to help the team succeed and support ongoing operational excellence.

To thrive as the Inventory Clerk, you should have:
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or vocational school degree, with 2+ years of experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or industrial inventory management.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Skilled in prioritizing, organizing, and completing multiple time-sensitive tasks accurately.
- Competent with computers, including Microsoft Office, inventory/databases, email, and spreadsheets; experience with pallet jack and forklift operation preferred.
- Reliable, professional, and able to communicate effectively, with occasional travel to job sites or vendors within Indiana.
Your responsibilities as the Inventory Clerk will include:
- Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory, including staging materials for field jobs and restocking returned items.
- Maintain warehouse, shop, and storage areas in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
- Perform inventory counts, monitor stock levels, and recommend re-orders.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and track performance of warehouse tools and equipment.
- Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance while supporting operations, documentation, and vendor coordination.
