The ideal candidate will bring solid project management expertise, data-driven reporting skills, and a passion for impact-driven work in a collaborative, hybrid environment based in New York or Washington, DC.

To thrive, you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of project management experience; Master’s degree and PMP certification preferred
• 5+ years of experience in higher education, ideally at an HBCU, MSI, or institution serving under-resourced students
• Solid skills in strategic planning, agile project management, and cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting abilities
• Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings/weekends; proximity to NYC or DC office preferred

Your responsibilities as the Project Manager will include:

• Lead end-to-end project execution, from planning through deployment, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget
• Collaborate with sponsors to define project goals, timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to drive project success and stakeholder satisfaction
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and adjust plans as needed to meet evolving requirements
• Develop and maintain clear project documentation, reports, and communications for leadership and stakeholders
