Technical Product Manager
Hybrid for local candidates; remote eligibility for those outside the Madison, WI area

As a Technical Product Manager, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for key areas of this platform. You’ll drive AI-powered innovation, translate business strategy into clear product direction, and partner closely with engineering, design, QA, and go-to-market teams to deliver high-impact solutions that solve real customer problems.

To succeed as the Technical Product Manager, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on product/engineering experience in SaaS or enterprise software
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, Product Management, or software engineering with demonstrated ownership of product strategy and delivery in agile environments
- Proven experience shipping AI/ML-powered features in production, with strong knowledge of large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI integration patterns (including MCP-style tool connectivity)
- Solid analytical, communication, and prioritization skills with experience in enterprise SaaS, cross-functional stakeholder management, and occasional travel (<10%) for customer engagement, conferences, or headquarters collaboration (English proficiency required)
Your responsibilities as the Technical Product Manager will include:
- Own end-to-end product strategy, roadmap planning, and execution for enterprise SaaS and critical communications features, ensuring alignment with business goals and life-safety requirements
- Lead AI and ML product initiatives, including generative AI, LLM integration, RAG architectures, and responsible AI deployment
- Drive agile product development, including backlog prioritization, sprint planning, user stories, acceptance criteria, and close collaboration with engineering teams
- Conduct customer discovery, win/loss analysis, and market research to inform product requirements, feature prioritization, and customer experience improvements
- Define and monitor product KPIs, using data and insights to guide roadmap decisions and continuous optimization
