Risk Analyst

To thrive, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field; advanced degree or relevant risk certification (e.g., FRM, CFA) preferred.
- 3–7 years in risk management within financial services, with emphasis on fixed income, structured products, or derivatives.
- Strong knowledge of MBS, CMBS, derivatives, RCSA methodologies, and familiarity with audit processes and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative risk analysis, reporting tools, and the ability to present complex findings to stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, collaborative, and ethical, with strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
Your responsibilities as the Risk Analyst will include:
- Assess and analyze risk across MBS, CMBS, derivatives, and other financial instruments using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Conduct RCSA activities with stakeholders to identify, document, and mitigate key operational and financial risks.
- Develop and maintain risk reporting tools, including models, dashboards, and metrics, to monitor exposures and inform senior management.
- Support audits and compliance efforts by reviewing controls, ensuring regulatory alignment, and implementing risk mitigation improvements.
- Collaborate with business units to integrate risk management practices, communicate insights, and refine policies and procedures.
