Machine Operator

This position is responsible for ensuring products are manufactured in accordance with FDA regulatory requirements as well as company procedures and policies.
Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assemble, sanitize, and operate tablet presses or encapsulating machines.
- Monitor product for quality defects during production runs.
- Calibrate machines and adjust settings to meet product specifications.
- Maintain production cell cleanliness and compliance with GMP standards.
- Record tablet and capsule weights, thickness, and hardness on Production Batch Records.
- Perform basic machine troubleshooting and alert supervisor of issues.
- Account for and record all losses during production runs.
- Move finished products to staging areas and clean equipment post-production.
- Work collaboratively with team members and demonstrate professionalism.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Requirements and Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Must complete BRC Production Operator training.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility for overtime as needed.
