Sanitation Technician I

This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in warehouses and food processing areas in accordance with FDA regulatory requirements and company policies.
Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform general cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, trash disposal).
- Operate cleaning machines and equipment safely.
- Clean and sanitize food processing equipment and facilities.
- Handle water hoses and chemical solutions safely.
- Complete sanitation logs and documentation.
- Maintain hand-wash and sanitizing stations.
- Work in environments with extreme temperatures and wet conditions.
- Adhere to GMP and safety training requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Requirements and Skills
- Previous experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a wet environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Flexibility for overtime as needed.
