What you need to thrive:        

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA preferred (or actively pursuing).
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 4+ years in leadership, with deep expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite preferred), Excel, and financial analysis tools.
• Proven ability to deliver strong analytical, problem‑solving, and financial management outcomes.
• Experience in ESOP organizations and/or construction, building materials, or related industries preferred.

Your responsibilities as the Director of Accounting will include:        

• Oversee all core accounting operations, including AP/AR, general ledger, payroll, month-end close, and GAAP‑compliant financial reporting.
• Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, variance analysis, and delivery of strategic insights to executive leadership.
• Manage audits, tax compliance, banking relationships, financial controls, and risk‑mitigation processes to ensure organizational financial integrity.
• Develop, mentor, and lead the accounting team to support high performance, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
• Optimize ERP/accounting systems and reporting tools (NetSuite preferred) to enhance financial accuracy, efficiency, and operational visibility.
