As the Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day activities of the Operations team run smoothly and effectively.
To thrive/succeed, you should have:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); –2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. No professional certification or license is required, although preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, as needed.
- Ability to supervise a team of staff in the Operations department and report directly to the Operations Manager.
- Proficient ability and practical knowledge of computers, software, and products applicable to the industry. Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of departmental program structure (Mission, Vision, and Goal Statements) and department policies and procedures.
- Ability to demonstrate effective time management skills while working independently with minimal supervision.
Your responsibilities as the Operations Supervisor will include:
- Training new staff and existing staff on new procedures and activities.
- Respond to daily events and resolve problems as they arise.
- Monitor and manage daily productivity and workflow; schedule coverage when staff are absent.
- Meet one-on-one with staff members; conduct annual performance reviews with oversight from the Operations Manager.
- Conduct regular audits of staff work with educational follow-up.
- Take supervisor calls from patients as needed.
- Send updates to the team on departmental practices.
- Collaborate effectively with other company employees, managers and departments.
- Participate in traditional and e-learning programs.
