Front Desk Medical Receptionist
As our client’s Front Desk Medical Receptionist, you will be the face and voice of their clinic, ensuring exceptional, welcoming, and efficient experience for patients across their MedSpa, Primary Care, and Wellness services. This role blends operational excellence with a patient-first mindset and includes key responsibilities in appointment management, insurance verification, billing support, and promotional outreach.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or extensive work experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in a healthcare environment, ideally both primary care and MedSpa.
- Strong knowledge of insurance verification, EMR software, and medical front office protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in medical billing and coding.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Your responsibilities as the Front Desk Medical Receptionist & Lead Manager, will include:
MedSpa Services:
- Schedule and manage appointments, ensuring optimal time usage and revenue.
- Provide upscale guest experience, guide patients on services, packages, and enhancements.
- Promote monthly specials and encourage online reviews at checkout.
Primary Care Services:
- Warmly greet and check in patients, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Perform insurance verifications through portal and provider outreach.
- Educate patients on their insurance plans, co-pays, and out-of-pocket expenses.
- Maintain up-to-date patient demographics and collaborate with clinical staff for flow management.
Wellness Services:
- Help patients understand wellness programs such as weight loss, IV hydration, and lifestyle consults.
- Integrate wellness service awareness into all patient conversations when appropriate.
Administrative and Leadership:
- Support EMR entry, scanning, documentation, and appointment accuracy.
- Assist with medical billing and coding processes (knowledge in this area is a strong plus).
- Take initiative in improving front desk processes and patient experience.
- Mentor newer front desk team members as they grow.
- Maintain a polished, clean, and welcoming reception and waiting area.
