To succeed as the Human Resources Administrator, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with HR certification considered an asset.
- 5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience spanning recruitment, employee relations, benefits, payroll, compliance, and performance management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), HRIS platforms, and technology tools that improve efficiency and accuracy in HR operations.
- Polished written and verbal communication abilities, paired with high emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and the discretion required to manage sensitive and confidential matters.
Your responsibilities as the Human Resources Administrator will include:
- Serve as the primary liaison with the external HR partner, coordinating recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, leave administration, and offboarding processes.
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition activities, including job description development, candidate screening, interview coordination, background checks, and seamless new-hire onboarding.
- Administer and manage employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate enrollments, compliance with plan documents, clear employee communications, audits, and issue resolution.
- Oversee payroll, HRIS, retirement plan contributions, and related compliance activities, partnering closely with finance, payroll administrators, and external vendors.
- Support organizational leadership by fostering positive employee relations, coordinating staff meetings and engagement initiatives, and delivering training and development programs.
- Maintain precise, confidential personnel records and HR data, reconcile HR-related expenses and invoices, generate reports, and ensure operational excellence across all HR administrative functions.
