Reporting to the Member Relations Specialist, this highly visible role delivers a responsive, high-quality member experience across all touchpoints, supporting membership retention, renewal management, and concierge-level service for college and university leaders. Ideal for a customer-focused professional with experience in association management, nonprofit membership services, or higher education engagement, this position combines frontline member support, data analysis, and engagement strategy to drive member satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term organizational growth.

To succeed as the Membership Engagement Senior Coordinator, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in customer service, membership engagement, or association management within a nonprofit, professional association, or higher education environment; experience supporting member retention initiatives preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with association management systems (AMS), CRM platforms, or comparable member databases, with the ability to maintain data integrity, generate engagement reports, and support renewal tracking processes.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, coordinate projects, and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced, member-focused setting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat, with comfort adopting new technology platforms to enhance operational efficiency and member experience; occasional travel for member programs or professional events preferred.
Your responsibilities as the Membership Engagement Senior Coordinator will include:
- Lead frontline member services operations by managing high-volume webchat, inbound phone inquiries, and shared inbox communications, delivering responsive customer support and issue resolution in a membership-based environment.
- Oversee the full membership renewal lifecycle, including dues processing, retention outreach, account updates, and cross-functional coordination to support revenue goals and member retention strategies.
- Administer professional development programs and member events, managing end-to-end registration, maintaining accurate participant records within the association management system (AMS), and ensuring data integrity across digital platforms.
- Analyze member engagement data, satisfaction surveys, and service trends to generate actionable insights that improve member experience, engagement strategy, and continuous process improvement.
- Maintain detailed member interaction records, serve as an internal liaison to escalate complex inquiries, and support online community engagement platforms to strengthen member participation and loyalty.
