To thrive as the Senior Electrical Engineer, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in power distribution and protection systems.
- Expertise in medium-voltage distribution, protective relaying, and low-voltage switchgear applications.
- Proficiency in SKM Power*Tools and thorough knowledge of NEC, IEEE standards, and industry practices.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or eligibility to obtain.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with flexibility to travel and lead technical discussions with clients and project teams.
Your responsibilities as the Senior Electrical Engineer will include:
- Lead the design, specification, and analysis of medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems, including switchgear, MCCs, and protective relays.
- Perform system studies such as short-circuit, coordination, arc-flash, and load flow using SKM Power*Tools.
- Develop detailed construction documents, one-line diagrams, equipment layouts, and procurement specifications.
- Review vendor proposals and provide technical oversight during procurement, installation, and commissioning.
- Ensure all designs comply with NEC, IEEE, and NFPA 70E standards while collaborating with project teams for safe and efficient solutions.
