Teller / Universal Banker Associate - Full Time
$18.00 - $20.00 Per hour
The Teller / Universal Banker Associate provides first-line, quality customer service through face-to-face performance of primary bank transactions. This position will also utilize communication opportunities to offer additional bank services and products.
Your Responsibilities as a Teller/Universal Banker Associate will include:
- Contribute to achieving the branch's overall goals by generating new consumer, mortgage, commercial loan, and Insurance Agency leads.
- Greets customers in the lobby, drive-thru, and/or on the phone.
- Opens new deposit accounts.
- Processes deposits, withdrawals, cash checks, and other teller transactions.
- Responsible for the daily security of assigned cash drawer and balances with data displayed on a computer screen.
- Processes deposits from ATM and night depository.
- Identify and initiate sales opportunities.
- Process and proof daily transactions through the back counter; ensure proper holds are placed on checks according to regular CC guidelines.
- Assists all retail-related positions as needed/assigned.
- Adhere to branch security procedures.

Experience:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a personal banker/customer service representative-type role is strongly preferred.
